Most “extra virgin olive oil” sold in India is either blended, mislabelled, or extracted at temperatures that destroy the very thing that makes EVOO valuable. Ours is different. This is single-variety Arbequina — one of Spain’s most prized olive cultivars — cold-pressed under 27°C to preserve its polyphenols, antioxidants, and smooth flavour. The acidity is below 0.4%, well under the 0.8% threshold for extra virgin classification. This is the olive oil that Mediterranean families actually use at their table.
What Makes Arbequina Special
Variety: Arbequina is a single olive cultivar from Spain, known for producing the smoothest, most approachable EVOO. Not bitter, not peppery — just clean, balanced olive flavour.
Taste: Smooth, subtle, with a mild fruity finish. If you’ve been put off by harsh or bitter olive oil, Arbequina will change your mind.
Extraction: Cold-pressed under 27°C. This matters because heat degrades polyphenols — the antioxidants that make EVOO worth paying for.
Acidity: Below 0.4%. The international standard allows up to 0.8% for extra virgin. Ours is half that — meaning fresher olives and better extraction.
EVOO vs Regular Olive Oil — Know the Difference
Extra Virgin means the oil was extracted mechanically (cold-pressed) without chemicals, and the acidity is below 0.8%. Regular “olive oil” or “pure olive oil” is typically refined — meaning it was chemically treated to remove defects, then blended with a small amount of EVOO for flavour. If you’re buying olive oil for health benefits, only Extra Virgin delivers them. Everything else is cooking oil with a fancy name.

Storage
