Gir Cow A2 Ghee (Traditional Bilona Method)

Herbal Platter’s Gir Cow A2 Ghee is crafted using the traditional Bilona process—a time-honoured method where milk is first cultured into curd, then the butter (makkhan) is separated using a bilona, and finally slow-cooked into aromatic, golden ghee.

What “A2” means (keep this honest + safe)

“A2” refers to the A2 variant of beta-casein found in some cows’ milk (A1 and A2 differ by a small change in the beta-casein protein). While some people prefer A2 milk, research around broad health outcomes is still mixed—so it’s best to keep claims conservative and food-appropriate.
